The Mira Costa girls varsity tennis team lost 13-5 on Friday, Nov. 2 against Thousand Oaks High School in their second round of CIF matches.
Doubles partners, seniors Hanna McGuire and Carly McGuire won their set 6-3 in the first round against the Thousand Oaks number two doubles. Partners, seniors Juliana Hoft and Alex Waller also won their first set 6-1 against the number three doubles for Thousand Oaks.
“I was pleased with how everyone played,” coach Joe Ciasulli. “Even though we lost, I don’t think it diminishes our remarkable season. Thousand Oaks just had very good singles players.”
