On Sept. 9, the Mira Costa varsity girls tennis team won their first match of the season, 17-1, against Long Beach Poly at home.
“It was a good game, and hopefully it shows that we will have a good season” junior varsity singles player, Taylor Klein said.
The team plays next on Sept. 10 at Newport Harbor at Newport Harbor High School. Their next home game is on Sept. 10 against Marlborough High School.
