Lemonade has been open for approximately three years now, and the owners and staff working at Lemonade felt that their beloved restaurant needed a rejuvenation to make the popular restaurant more family-friendly for its customers.

In the beginning of February, Lemonade closed for about one month in order to transform the restaurant. Lemonade reopened to the public in March and added new amenities such as a salad station, new food, lowered the glass, and new signs. Lemonade has improved tremendously with the quality of food and the renovations that allow the customers to flow through the line a lot more smoothly and to get their food faster.

Lemonade is similar to a cafeteria because there are many different types of food to choose from as the customer makes their way down to the cash register. Lemonade is a very trendy spot in downtown Manhattan Beach due to its healthy and organic food. Lemonade has many other locations located throughout the Los Angles area.

Lemonade now has new freshly tossed salads that are amazing, and are sold at the new salad station called Leafy Greens. The restaurant sells three different types of salads including baby artisan and gem romaine, butter and red oak leaf lettuce, and tatsoi and mizuna lettuce. The salads at Lemonade change seasonly.

After reopening the trendy restaurant added new delectable items to its menu such as Hawaiian Poke that is phenomenal. The poke has an outstanding flavor with sesame seeds, chives, and peppers that extract flavor to the fish, but the most delicious ingredient is the sauce that the chefs lightly apply to the raw tuna, creating a delectable and unique dish.

Lemonade is a cafeteria-styled restaurant, and before the renovations took place the glass between the chefs and customers was very high which made it difficult to communicate. During the month of closure, the owners thought it was necessary to lower the glass between the employees and customers to make communication between them easier and also to help make the restaurant more family friendly.

Additionally, new signs have been installed around Lemonade to help customers find their favorite foods. The 7 new signs are placed above the following foods signature salads, hand-tossed salads, meat, fish, sandwiches, hot dishes, desserts, and the restaurant’s famous lemonade. This new renovation allows customers to flow throughout the restaurant a lot more quickly by allowing customers to go directly to their desired choice of food.

The restaurant also has been selling many new delicious desserts. Macaroons were previously brought to Lemonade daily from a bakery, but now the chefs and employees at Lemonade make the macaroons in the store in their kitchen. The new macaroons are more flavorful and fresh with a variety of different flavors to choose from.

Overall, the renovations made at Lemonade are outstanding. The restaurant experience at Lemonade now runs a lot more swiftly with the lowered glass and helpful signs to aid customers to find their preferred food with a wide variety of choices. The new salad station, and new Hawaiian Poke are all appetizing, and add to the variety of choices of the diverse menu. Lastly, the new macaroons are the best way to end a delicious meal at Lemonade.

Lemonade is located at 451 Manhattan Beach Blvd in Manhattan Beach. Lemonade is open Mon. through Sun. 11a.m. to 9:05p.m., and officially reopened on March 5.
