Mustang golfers Megan Kim and twins Raquel and Kari Gordon finished in the top seven at the golf Bay League individuals competition on Oct. 20, qualifing them for a spot in CIF individuals.

Kim shot a low score of 78 and the Gordons both shot an 83.

While the main focus is on the team’s performance in CIF, this individual tournament allows for individuals to show off their talents and compete against the best high school golfers in California.

Freshman Kim qualified as Bay League’s second-best performer after a loss to Peninsula’s senior golfer Katia Joo in a sudden-death tiebreak. The two have high hopes for their individual appearances in CIF.

The girls will compete in CIF individuals from Oct. 24-28.
