Sophomore Malia Yuhl serves the ball into play to start off today’s Varsity Vollyball game. The Mustang’s beat Inglewood in a three game sweep to advance their season this fall.
Junior Emily Dubinsky blocks Inglewood’s attack while the rest of the team covers her. Inglewood failed to dig Dubinsky’s impressive shot and Costa’s lead was furthered in the second game of the match.
Senior Alexa Underwood perfectly sets the ball up in the air for Dubinsky to spike. The pair worked as a tag team to hit the ball to Inglewood and give Costa a chance to add to their lead.
Underwood Serves the ball to start off the third game of the intense match. She strategically serves the ball to a specific zone and the Mustangs took an overwhelming win for this game.
Sophomore Riley Hazelrigg spikes the ball at the beginning of the third match and helps the mustangs get closer to their win. The Varsity girls volleyball team won all three games with a sizable lead.
