In an era where most first person shooters are dull and unimaginative in terms of story and gameplay, Titanfall 2 rises above with an effort to stand out, and is a complete and utter success.

Standing apart from other popular video games, Titanfall 2 features a combination of an emotional campaign mode sta and a thrilling multiplayer mode.

Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, Titanfall 2’s main director was Steve Fukuda. The voice over actors for the game are Matthew Mercer as Pilot Jack Cooper, and his loyal robotic partner BT-7274, voiced by Glenn Steinbaum, with JB Blanc as antagonist Kuben Blisk.

The plot revolves around the bond between Jack Cooper and his new Titan (a military robot), BT-7274. They fight their way through Blisk’s men to reunite with rebels in an attempt to stop Blisk’s ultimate plan, bonding along the way.

Titanfall 2’s strongest aspect its campaign, something the previous game lacked. Although the campaign is fairly short, it features a well paced, emotional story that lets you connect with the game’s characters. The addition of a fascinating campaign makes the game more enjoyable for all characters.

Additionally, the multiplayer is great due to a lot of customization features and fun gameplay mechanics. Being able to fully customize your characters allows gamers to interact further with the game.

Titanfall 2 works well in the footsteps of its forebear, with an enjoyable single-player campaign, and a tough but rewarding multiplayer experience.

Titanfall 2 was released October 28, 2016, and is available for all platforms and is sold nationwide.
