The Mira Costa Drama Department will host its annual AIDS Benefit show tonight in the small theatre at 7 p.m.

Drama students will perform songs, monologues, comedic and dramatic scenes, and dances. The department requests a $5 donation form at the door, and the money raised will go to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a nonprofit organization that raises money in order to provide resources, such as medicine and health care, to people impacted by AIDS.

“It’s a really fun opportunity to have the whole department perform together,” junior and benefit participant Ari Derambakhsh said. “It’s a way to raise money, but also to have fun while doing it.”
