The thirteenth season of The Bachelorette premiered on May 22, 2017 and Bachelor Nation is already going crazy with all of the drama and excitement that enfolded. Don’t miss the opportunity to see extravagant group dates, seeing grown men cry and relationships and love forming all in one show.
The Bachelorette is a fantastic and very popular show that is never dull and filled with so many dramatic moments between the guys, shocking twists, and heartfelt moments but some parts are not as good and are just put in the show to keep the ratings high and to make for good reality television.
For the past 15 years the Bachelor Franchise has brought so much drama, joy and even tears to viewers around the world. On The Bachelorette there is one woman and about 30 guys vowing for the woman’s love. The show has ended with many engagements and even some marriages but has also ended with complete heartbreak.
Rachel is a 32-year old attorney from Dallas, Texas and is the first ever African American Bachelorette. She went through many trials and tribulations of falling in love with Nick Viall in the last season of The Bachelor and now it’s her turn to go on the journey to find love. She was skeptical about finding love in Nick’s season but now that she knows it is possible she is ready to find the person to spend the rest of her life with.
A positive to this show is all of the drama between the guys that takes place due to all of their huge ego’s. Some tensions started rising especially when Lucas, the “Whaboomer” came out of the limo which lead to many of the men fighting with Lucas. For some people confrontations might be hard to watch but on the other hand, some viewers bring out the popcorn and enjoy watching all of the drama and fighting.
An amazing part of the show is all of the shocking parts that make the viewer on the edge of their seat. One of the most shocking and popular parts of the show are when all of the men come out of the limo and some of them do crazy and shocking things in order to get attention. Other shocking parts like the rose ceremonies make the viewers want to watch more and also it makes them more invested in the show.
Another positive is all of the heartfelt moments in the show that make viewers believe that love and finding your soulmate does actually exist. The show is filled with romantic dates, kissing and for some on the show the development of true love. The show makes you feel like you are joining Rachel on her quest to find love which intrigues many viewers.
One of the negatives of the show is that you can tell who the producers tell Rachel to keep on the show. They tell Rachel certain men to keep on so that the show’s ratings stay high and that the show doesn’t stop having drama. This part takes away from Rachel’s real journey to find love even though some of the crazy people that they keep on are very hilarious and make for great television.
The journey started with 31 guys and Rachel eliminated 8 in week one so she continues on with 23 great and eligible men. There are many more dramatic moments between the guys, shocking twists, and heartfelt moments in the episodes to come. Also, make sure to tune in so that you can make your selection of your favorites and find out who in the end gets the final rose.
You can watch Season 13 of The Bachelorette on ABC on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. and also on the ABC app.
