The Mira Costa girls soccer team’s CIF playoff run came to an end on Feb. 22 when they played Long Beach Wilson at home and lost by a score of 2-1.
The Mustangs were stifled by Long Beach’s tough defense. The Mustang’s lone goal came late in the game by sophomore Alyssa Lloja.
The girls finish off the 2010-2011 season with an overall record of 15-2-8 and a Bay League record of 5-0-5. They look forward to the 2011-2012 season with hopes of repeating another deep CIF run.
