Boys soccer begins season with a tie to Inglewood

The Mira Costa boys soccer team kicked off their season with a tie against Inglewood High School on November 29. The game took place at Costa and resulted in a tie with a score of 1-1. The Mustangs record begins the season at 0-0-1.

The game took place at Costa and resulted in a tie score of 1-1. The first half of the game started off with Costa mostly on the offense, resulting in multiple shots at goal from corner kicks and free kicks but, junior Frank Ralyea was the only Costa forward to successfully score on a free kick in the first half however. During the second half, Costa had many shots on goal but were never able to score. Then in the last couple minutes of the game, an Inglewood forward broke away from the defense and scored, causing the game to end in a tie.

The boys next game will be against Santa Monica High school in Santa Monica on Thursday, Dec. 1.
