On October 2 and 3, Megan Moroney took the stage at The Greek Theater for her Am I Okay tour. Performing for the first time in Los Angeles since her debut at the Troubadour in 2023, Moroney’s voice and energy made the night unforgettable to the sold out audience.
Moroney performed nearly every track from her newest album Am I Okay. She also made sure to include some popular songs from her album Lucky, which was released in 2023. She also sang hit singles including 28th of June, 6 Months Later, No Caller ID, I’m Not Pretty, and Tennessee Orange.
On October 2, dressed in a sparkly light blue dress, she caught the stage lights perfectly. Moroney opened the night with her song, “Man on the Moon,” followed by “Indifferent.” Setting the tone for the night, the country-pop singer explained how far she has come and how surreal it is to be back in LA.
There were many highlights from the concert, such as when Moroney sang one of her most heartfelt unreleased songs, “Beautiful Things,” which she dedicated to her niece. Adding to the uniqueness of the tour, she had three different outfit changes, each matching the mood of the set, along with a variety of backdrops that enhanced her storytelling. She also swapped guitars multiple times throughout the show, each design complementing the tone of the different songs. All together, these details made the experience feel carefully crafted and personal.
Coming to a close, Moroney sang, “I’ll Be Fine” and had her closest friends join her on stage for it. After leaving the stage to fake the audience out, she ran right back on for one last song, closing off with her title track, “Am I Okay.”
