The Mental Health Awareness Fair was held in the Mustang Mall during office hours on Thursday, May 22 to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month. The assembly informed students on mental health, bringing the student body closer together.
There were several booths around the Mustang Mall featuring different activities. Several of them
allowed students to participate in activities such as origami, chalk art, and coloring, all raising awareness about mental health.
Additionally, staff members helped guide students through the event. At the booths, adults provided more information about mental health resources and gave students encouraging advice.
“All the staff and students that hosted it were really friendly, and all the stands were really interactive,” said sophomore Giana Chavez. “There was a different activity and something to do at every
stand.”
