Stagecoach 2025 took place from Apr. 25-28 in Indio, California. The three day country themed music festival featured a lineup of country and pop artists including Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Lana Del Rey, and a variety of performances from other artists such as Kesha, Nelly, and The Backstreet Boys.
Stagecoach is not just a concert to most people, it’s a fashion show. Attendees and performers elaborately plan their outfits out months in advance and spend hundreds of dollars to create the perfect outfit. Festival-goers as well as performers struggled to stay warm in the 60 degree temperatures this year, which is significantly lower than previous years where temperatures were in the high 90s.To keep warm in the cold, windy weather, a popular trend was denim jackets and linen pants.
Despite influencers being able to spend thousands of dollars on their outfits, some of them are just flat out ugly. Paris Hilton, for example, wore a sparkly pink jumpsuit with massive star shoulder pads. Hilton is a fashion icon and although she pulls the outfit off better than anyone else could, she would have looked better in literally anything else.
Headliner Luke Combs was nothing above mediocre. He wore a plain black button up, dark blue jeans, and a baseball cap. If you’re going to be a main headliner at Stagecoach, he could’ve at least put in the effort to wear a cowboy hat.
On a positive note, Kesha’s outfit was phenomenal, to no surprise. Kesha has always had a more grungy, party girl look to her outfits and this remained her style at Stagecoach. She wore a bedazzled, cropped flannel, bedazzled micro denim shorts, and fishnets. Despite the cold, she was able to wear another iconic outfit.
Outfits at iconic music festivals like Stagecoach and Coachella have seen a noticeable decline in creativity and uniqueness. In the 2010s, Coachella had a more bohemian, free-spirited aesthetic that has been replaced with plain colored micro shorts, skirts, and crop tops. Similarly, Stagecoach has become overrun with basic looks like denim skirts, tank tops, and other looks inspired by fast fashion and influencer trends, stipping away any real creativity.
