Students who ran for Costa’s Associated Student Body (ASB) started campaigning on Monday for the election. The students’ campaign includes clever slogans on posters around the school along with posts on social media promoting their name.
There are multiple positions to run for, such as President, Treasurer, and Vice President for each grade level. At the end of campaigning, students from grade levels 9–11 voted on candidates for each position. The results of voting were not available at the time of print.
“When I voted as an underclassman, seeing those posts on social media definitely helped me make my decision,” senior Jake Gallo said.
