The Live Like Braun Foundation was established to honor the memory of Braun Levi, the 18 year old Loyola High School senior. On May 4th, Levi tragically passed away in a car accident.
The foundation’s objective is to honor Levi and how he lived by building a lasting movement that inspires others to take after Levi who accepted each opportunity with integrity and gratitude, and uplifted everyone around him. The foundation encourages people to fill their lives with love and joy, as Braun always did.
“The foundation plans to fund and support programs that equip youth with the tools to lead, connect, and thrive, especially in moments of hardship or uncertainty,” said the Levi family’s spokesperson. “Its mission is to build a lasting movement that inspires young people to live big, love hard, take risks, and show up for others.”
The Levi family is dedicated to honoring Levi’s life and spirit, as well as diving into the foundation’s goals and values to positively transform the lives of many individuals. This commitment is shown mainly through members of their family.
“Braun’s mother, Jenn, plans to dedicate herself fully to this mission and make the Live Like Braun Foundation a central part of her life moving forward,” Levi family spokesperson said.
The family’s commitment is a testament to their love and devotion to Braun. The immense support and generous contributions from surrounding communities play a crucial role in achieving the goals of the foundation.
“The family is incredibly grateful for the support that helped fully fund the Loyola scholarship in Braun’s name,” said the spokesperson. “Now, with that milestone reached, all future donations will go directly to the Live Like Braun Foundation.”
The Live Like Braun Foundation honors Braun’s memory and inspires many to live their lives as Braun lived: with compassion, curiosity and joy. With the continued support and the devotion of Levis’ friends and family, the Live Like Braun Foundation will carry on the legacy of Braun for many years to come.
“The foundation hopes to build a lasting movement that inspires young people to live big, love hard, take risks, and show up for others,” said the spokesperson.
