The Student Government announced the twelve 2010 Homecoming Court members and the Homecoming Theme on Sept. 24 at lunch.
The six Princes are: Ryan Ascencio, Jason Boxer, Aiden Daye, Julian Monk, J.R. Oshima and Shane Sisson.
The six Princesses are: Sierra Bloodgood, Samantha Curry, Mackenzie Green, Anastasia Moore, Savannah Pio and Sydney Pratt.
The theme for Homecoming is “Manhattan to Manhattan”, signifying Manhattan in New York to Manhattan Beach in California.
“The Theme this year is very unique because it shows the striking differences between New York and our beach town,” Student Government Member and Homecoming court princess Sydney Pratt said.
The Homcoming Spirit Week will be from Oct. 4 to Oct. 8 and the Homecoming Court will participate in various activities during lunch. The voting for Homecoming King and Queen will be during Homeroom on Oct. 5 and only Seniors will be permitted to cast their votes.
“I’m very excited because I’ve wanted to be on Homecoming Court since freshmen year and it will be a very memorable experience,” said Pratt.
