The Mira Costa Violin Choir plays the Sonate in A Major, OP. 3, NO.2 by Allegro directed by Jean Marie Leclair. The Violin Choir started off the show in the small theater.The Amadeus Duo with Kevin Chen and Steven Tse perform Violin and Viola Duo #1 by Mozart. The Eclectic Ensemble was a way for students to show off their skills and to raise money for band and orchestra.Groove Central with Adam Aronesty, Jules Gillam, Max Rohde, Sah-Ra Chestnut-Brooks, Matthew Kennedy, Dave Jha, Miles McCorkendale, Max Huggins, and Matthew Nelson play Quartermaster by Snarky Puppy. Their band ended the first half of the show on Friday night.Team 9 Woodwind Quintet with Angelique Angelastro, Adrian Yu, Emily Angstreich, Hunter Cross, and Lauren Marinelli play A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. Their quintet along with many other performers played very recent songs along opposed to classical music.The band Lightly Salted with Asha Berkes, Sam Nicosia, and Alexa Alfano perform In The Pines by Lead Belly, arr. Nirvana. Their band was one of the very few who sang a recent song while playing music.
