Varsity senior Elliott Estes sends a pitch over home plate in the Mustangs game against Whittier. Today was the first game in the CIF playoffs which will continue to June 3rd.
Freshmen Ella Lee throws in the ball after it was hit into center field in the first inning. Whittier eventually scored 1 run at the end of the play.
Varsity first-basewoman Katie Gould Catches a throw from Estes just in time to score an out. The Mustangs didn’t allow for any runs to be scored in the second inning.
Varsity senior Jamie Hoffman catches a strike thrown by Estes in the third inning. Whittier scored two runs in the third inning while the Mustangs scored one run, leaving the score 1-4.
Varsity junior Grace Martens slides into first base in the 5th inning after hitting the ball between first and second base. The Mustangs eventually lost 6-10.
