The Mira Costa Varsity Boys Volleyball team face off against Santa Margarita for the first round of CIF finals.The team gathered in a huddle to start off the first game.
Costa Freshman and Setter Jack Walmer serves the ball into play for the first game. The Mustangs lost against the Eagles 25-16 for the first and second game.
Costa Senior Kevin Pinkerton spikes the ball back to Santa Margarita and ties up the third game. The Mustangs pull out a win of 25-23 against the Santa Margarita Eagles.
Costa Senior Ethan Morgan also hits back a ball as Santa Margarita jumps up to try and block him. Morgan helped lead his team to a victory of 25-18 in the fourth game.
Ethan Morgan and Jack Walmer are seen celebrating a tremendous comeback after winning the fifth game. The boys went on to face off against Newport Harbor the following Thursday.
