Senior, Alex de Sousa, takes on 3 Saint John Bosco defenders as he makes a run towards goal. Costa played at Saint John Bosco this Tuesday and came out with a win and a final score of 5-1.
Senior Goalie, Andrew Fasano, pushes up his defenders as he prepares to kick the ball into Bosco’s defensive half. Fasano had a total of 6 saves in the game and held the braves to only 1 goal.
Junior, Josh Guadiano, prepares to control the ball from the air on Bosco’s side of the field. Guadiano got 1 assist to senior, Alex de Sousa, to start off the game and put Costa ahead 1-0.
Seniors, Michael Antich (Left) and Keyan Torabi (Right), press a Bosco midfielder in hopes of winning the ball and creating a counter attack. Costa’s Midfield was very strong and controlled the ball for most of the game.
Junior, Josh Guadiano, challenges an air ball against one of Bosco’s defenders. Costa based most of their play on kicking over the top balls to the fast forwards in hopes that they could outrun the Bosco defense.
