Junior, Pedro Rodriguez, dribbles up the ball into Redondo’s half of the field looking for a chance to get a goal. Mira Costa played Redondo at Redondo this past Tuesday to end the first half of the Bay League season.
Senior, Tanner Hong, goes up to challenge the ball against Redondo’s goalkeeper. Costa had many chances but was only able to score 1 goal that came in the early minutes of the first half.
Senior goalkeeper, Andrew Fasano, saves a shot made by a Redondo player. Fasano had a total of 8 saves and only allowed 2 goals; 1 of them coming from a late goal made in overtime giving Redondo the win.
Senior, Keyan Torabi, hits a ball into Redondo’s box in hopes that a costa player can put it in the back of the net. Costa was constantly on the attack and keeping possession of the ball in Redondo’s half.
Redondo players celebrate their win over Costa after a late header goal in golden goal overtime. Costa plays Redondo at home for senior night and their final Bay League game before CIF begins.
