1. Junior Emma Binks dribbles the ball away from her opponent and towards the sideline. On Wednesday, February 7, Girls soccer played Redondo for their final league game at Redondo High School.

2. Junior Ava Van’t Hof shields the ball from the other team and looks for an open player. Girls soccer battled hard, but lost to Redondo 1-0 in the final minutes of the game.

3. Junior Olivia Tuffli collects the ball from the air to find a player on the ground. Tuffli played defense in every game and helped save many goals from going into the goal.

4. Senior Jamie Averch looks up to find an open player to pass the ball to. Averch played soccer at Costa all four years and was on varsity her junior and senior year.

5. Sophomore Ashley Naylor punts the ball up the field after she makes a save. Girls varsity soccer placed third in league and made it CIF, but lost in the first round 1-0 against Canyon Hills High School.
