1. Students are performing the Star Spangled Banner for their first song of the night at the All District Orchestra Festival Concert. The concert was on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 PM in the big auditorium at Mira Costa.
2. Students of all ages are playing the violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Students from the five elementary schools in Manhattan Beach, MBMS, and MCHS performed in the concert.
3. The woman(center) is introducing herself to the audience; she is the head of the music department at the elementary schools. She talked about her students’ dedication and preparation for the concert.
4. The elementary students whose instruments are in the standard modern violin family are performing their first song of the night. They are being conducted by their music teacher.
5. The students are looking at their music books, so they can hit each music note as they are performing. They had a smooth performance with no musical flaws.
