1) Mira Costa wrestling huddles for a pep talk before the CIF Dual championships against Valencia. Mira Costa placed second at the CIF Dual championships at Redondo Union High School two weeks ago.
2) Costa wrestler, Jacob Gordon, tries to pin a Valencia wrestler and win his match. Costa lost to Valencia 42-36 in the finals and finished in second place at the tournament.
3) Costa wrestler, Mitchell Halvorsen, gets in position to start wrestling again after getting a pin and earning 2 points. Halvorsen was overpowered by his opponent which led to him losing the match.
4) Costa wrestler, Alan Faber, gets flipped by Valencia High School state ranked wrestler in the 115 pound weight division. Valencia started off strong and kept Costa from making a comeback at the end of the game.
5) Costa wrestling walks away with high spirits after their tough loss against Valencia High School. Last week the boys competed in CIF individuals at Temecula High School and hoped to get a better result.
