Mira Costa’s Dance and Cheer team holds up signs that spell out “seniors” during their routine at the beginning of the pep rally as a tribute to this year’ s 2019 graduates. The rally took place on October 12th before lunch on the football field.

Senior homecoming court members Yusuf Abdul-Cader, Owen Price-Hughs, Kai Bathurst, and Malcom Kluth all jump up in sync and pose for a shot. Similar to past years, court memembers continued the tradition of having the boys wear a cheer costume and the girls wear a football uniform the day of the game.

Senior court members Alexandra Bedingfield and Owen Price-Hughs pose together in front of their fellow court members. The routine was about three minutes long and consisted of various mashups of current popular songs.

Senior court members Chase Evers and Liam Barberi dance together in front of the remaining court. Memebrs Alexandra Bedingfeld and Yusuf Abdul-Cader were crowed homecoming king and queen at the homecoming game the following day.

Senior court members Sydney Garmoe and Kai Bathurst perform a series of popular dance moves, including the whip, during their solo together. Unfortunately, rain and thunder struck the night of the game and it had to be rescheduled to Saturday October 13th around noon.
