Mira Costa Band Director Joel Carson indroduces the beginning performances from the Symphonic Band. The MCHS 2018 Winter Concert took place in the large auditorium on December 3rd at 7:00 pm.
Two members of the Symphonic Band play the Clarinet. They played the holiday songs Jingle Bells Fantasy by John Wasson and Chanukah Is Here by Calvin Custer.
Senior Kira Levin performs the song (Everybody’s Waitin’ For) The Man With The Bag. She sang along with instrumentals from the Jazz Band.
Costa Student Adam Aronesty plays the Alto Saophone. He performed with the Wind Symphony to the songs Festival Fanfare for Christmas by John Wasson and Cantique De Noël (O Holy Night) by Adolphe Adam. He also performed with the Jazz Band.
Costa Student Maxwell Huggins plays as part of the Rhythm for the Jazz Band. Jazz performed the songs New Toys by Bill Liston, We Wish You A Merry Christmas by Tom Kubris, and (Everybody’s Waitin’ For) The Man With The Bag.
