Mira Costa boys volleyball sweeps El Segundo

Mira Costa boys volleyball had their second game of the season against El Segundo today at El Segundo. The Mustangs won all three sets 25-11, 25-21, and 25-18.

The Mustangs started out full speed, easily winning the first set. They struggled a bit in the second set, but still managed to win 25-21. They re-gained momentum in the last set, finishing to game in a 3-0 victory.

“The game was fairly easy, it was a game where everyone contributed to the win,” Junior setter Jack Walmer said.

The Mustangs, now 2-0 overall, will play in the Best of the West tournament this Friday and Saturaday at Poway, and are looking forward to continued success.

“I’m stoked about the season because we are a top team and hope we get the chance to compete for a ring this year!” Walmer said.
