Christian Bodlovich

Senior Christian Bodlovich committed to Arizona State University to play Division 1 baseball. He will be joining the Sun Devils in the fall in the extremely competitive Pac-12 Conference. Bodlovich verbally committed to ASU in July of 2018 and officially signed his letter of intent in November of 2018.

“I chose to go to ASU because of the storied history surrounding the program along with the great coaching staff,” Bodlovich said. “They play in a power 5 conference (Pac-12) and they play against the best of the best on a daily basis. I enjoy the environment of the city of Tempe as well.”

According to Bodlovich, his parents have been the biggest influences on his career. They have always pushed him to work hard, and he says he wouldn’t be where he is without them.

“I  am most excited about getting the opportunity to compete in one of the best conferences in all of college sports,” Bodlovich said.

Memphis Glascow

Senior Memphis Glasgow will be playing Division 1 volleyball in the Summit League this fall for the University of Denver Pioneers. Glasgow has been playing since she was little and verbally committed to play collegiate volleyball in 2017. Glasgow signed her letter of intent in 2018 along with fellow teammates on National Signing Day.

“My favorite part about volleyball is celebrating with my teammates and how close you get to the girls on your team,” Glasgow said.

Denver volleyball went 15-0 in league matches last year. According to Glasgow, she chose Denver because the first time she was there she fell in love with the university’s campus. She also loved that when she visited campus, all of the people she met were so welcoming.

“I am the most excited to be able to travel and play and just to be part of a college team and play at the collegiate level,” Glasgow said.

Cy Chittenden

Senior Cy Chittenden will attend the University of Chicago in the fall to compete with the Division III cross country and track team.

Chittenden has been running since sixth grade but didn’t start taking it seriously until freshman year.

“I committed to UChicago because it offered me a good mix between competitive sports and quality academics,” Chittenden said. “More specifically, the university has a pre-med program that works closely with the UChicago Med school that I’m interested in.”

Chittenden is excited for his future running career and wants to hopefully break records, but he knows that the winter months in Chicago are brutal. He says he will miss the warm SoCal weather when running in November.

“The UChicago cross country team is really tight knit, so I’m looking forward to starting off college with a great group of friends and teammates,” Chittenden said.

Hudson Carter

Senior Hudson Carter will be joining the  Trojans next year, after committing in August of 2018 to the University of Southern California to play water polo. Carter started playing water polo when he was nine years old and it has always been a dream of his to play at the collegiate level.

“My favorite part about the sport is the team aspect and the feeling of winning and playing for your team,” Carter said.

Carter will be playing Division 1 water polo in the Pac-12 Conference and will take his skills that he learned from club and high school water polo to USC. The Trojans were 30-3 in last year’s season and beat Stanford in the National Championship game, earning the coveted title. According to Carter, he is most excited to meet his teammates, coaches and have fun with his friends at USC.

“I chose USC because of all of the academic possibilities, the great connections and the water polo team,” Carter said.
