Costa’s various clubs participated in Club Day today during lunch in the Mustang Mall.
Costa’s Associated Student Body hosted Club Day, which allows clubs on campus to sell food and raise money for their funding. Clubs included the Latino Scholars Union Club, the Child Hope Club and the Mustang Club. The next Club Day will be on May 31 at lunch on an office hours schedule in the Mustang Mall.
“All the money we made will be donated to an organization called Portraits of Hope,” Mustang Club member Alisara Koomthong said. “We can’t wait for the next Club Day.”
Club Day 1/25/17 – Mira Costa’s latest club day, which was held on January 25th at the Mustang Mall, has given clubs around campus an opportunity to finance their clubs by selling treats to fellow students for profit. The Mustang Club sold cupcakes, muffins, and cookies during club day and donated all the proceeds to the Portraits of Hope organization.
