“This is Costa” night brings current 8th graders to campus

Mira Costa hosted 8th grade students and parents at “This is Costa” night on Oct. 25 in Waller Stadium to promote Costa clubs, sports, and organizations.

The event began with a performance by Costa’s choir and dance team and an introduction from Principal Dr. Karina Gerger. Gerger spoke about awards and achievements of Costa’s organizations as well as stressed the importance of getting involved on campus. Middle school students and parents toured the booths displayed on the track.

“It was super awesome to see all the middle schoolers watching us perform, and I hope to see them at auditions in the spring,” said senior Dance captain Sam Gin.
