Girls basketball falls to Peninsula in final moments of regulation

On Jan. 20, the Mira Costa girls basketball team lost to Palos Verdes Peninsula in the game’s final moments with a score of 46-44.

The standout player was sophomore Camillie Mills, who scored five three-pointers for 15 points. The Mustangs are now 10-11 overall and 1-3 in Bay League.

The girls’ next game will be on Jan. 21 against AB Miller in a non-bay league game at Narbonne High School in the Narbonne Extravaganza.
