On Jan. 24, the Mira Costa girls basketball team came up short at home against Palos Verdes with a final score of 51-44.
The top performer of the game was junior Ashley Reese, who scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. The Mustangs now have a record of 10-12 overall and 1-4 in Bay League.
The girls’ next game will be on Jan. 27 away against West Torrance.
