In the first round of CIF, the Mira Costa boys basketball team triumphed over Adolfo Camarillo High School on Feb. 17. The Mustangs won 79-71 on the road, making their record 18-9.
Junior Cole Feaster led the Costa effort with 26 points and six assists. Juniors Oliver Mausner and Kevin Kim followed Feaster with 17 and 15 points respectively.
Costa will face Compton High School at home on Feb. 21 in the second round of CIF.
