The Mira Costa boys golf team kicked off their season on February 27 at their home course Chester Washington against San Marcos High School from Santa Barbara. The Mustangs hit the ball well on their way to their first win on the brand new season.
Senior David Kim led the boys by shooting a 69 in 18 holes with a final score of 405-364. Senior Evan Westerberg added a score of 73 and sophomore James Houston shot a 72 in the Mustang’s win.
The boys will look to continue their winning start tomorrow, February 28, when they host Cerritos High School at Chester Washington golf course.
