The Mira Costa boys golf team suffered their first loss of the season on March 8 at Chester Washington golf course against Peninsula High School. The Mustang’s now stand at 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the Bay League.
Senior Evan Westerberg shot a 38 in the boys 190-193 loss against Peninsula.
The boys will begin the Oak Park tournament on March 12 at North Ranch Country Club.
