The Mira Costa girls Junior Varsity Volleyball team defeated West Torrance winning 2 sets to 0 on Oct. 4. The Mustangs won their first set 25-18 and won their second set 25-12.
Key players in the game include sophomore Kyra Collins who had a total of 4 kills along with junior Izzy Hill who had a total of 2 kills.
“Our offense really excelled today and the girls played wonderfully together” says coach Haley Lawson.
The girls Junior Varsity Volleyball team has their next game on Tuesday, October 9th at Mira Costa against Peninsula which will be at 4:15 pm.
