The Mira Costa girls junior varsity volleyball team won 2 sets to 1 in tits game against Peninsula on October 25. The girls won the first set, 25-20, lost the second set, 27-25, and won the last set, 15-9.
Key players include Ashley Anselmo, who had a total of six kills, and Katrina Kernochan, who had four kills and six digs.
After the second set, the game got really intense but I am very happy we stuck together and pulled out a win” said sophomore Kyra Collins.
The Mira Costa girls junior varsity volleyball team has its next game at Mira Costa October 30 against Redondo at 6 pm.
