Costa’s Drama Department premiered its production of the fall play “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” on Nov. 2.

The cast and crew members spent a month and a half auditioning and rehearsing and for opening night.

“Opening night went very well,” junior co-star Sabrina Mongiello said. “We were excited to show our hard work.”

The crew had vocal, dance and stage rehearsals six days a week for two hours. The two weeks preceding the show consisted of eight hour rehearsals.

“During Hell Week, you get close to people and you have to work together to be sane,” junior co-star Matt Sena said.

The “Charlie Brown” cast will perform again today and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m along with a matinee on Saturday at 2 pm.

“We’re introducing a whole new generation to Charles Schultz’s comic characters,” Director Carol Matthews said. “Every one should come and enjoy the show.”
