On Tuesday February 19th the Mira Costa Girls Soccer team beat Temecula High School 4 to 2 taking them to the quarter finals of CIF.
Senior Meghan Mahoney scored the first two goals in the first half of the match and senior co-captain Melina Cohen scored the second two goals in the second half of the game.
“We played really well and had great ball control throughout the entire game,” Cohen said.
Their next match will be Thursday at Harvard Westlake.
