The Mira Costa baseball team lost to Bonita High School at home on Saturday, March 16. The Mustangs lost with a score of 2-1.
Senior pitcher and left-fielder Kevin Lopez went two for three and scored the only run of the game. Senior pitcher Chris Alcala and Lopez held Bonita to two runs.
“Our defense was good,” Lopez said. “We could have hit better, and our baserunning can certainly improve.”
