Boys tennis beats Peninsula High School, keeps undefeated season alive

The Mira Costa High School boys varsity tennis team defeated Peninsula High School 12-6 away on Thursday March 21. The Mustangs are now 10-0 overall and 1-0 in Bay League.

In singles, sophomore Evan Han, freshmen Joey Rotheram and Alex Gaal all won two matches each. In doubles, the teams of senior Michael Carella and freshman Alec Zirkelbach and junior Zak Vand with sophomore Jason Wu won all three of their matches.

“We are off to a great start in Bay League,” Wu said.

The Mustangs’ next match is on Wednesday, March 27 away against Santa Monica.
