The Mira Costa girls and boys varsity swim team competed in the 2013 South Bay invitational from March 26th through the 29th.
The girls placed second in the invitational with a score of 328. The boys placed seventh in the meet with a score of 181.
In the finals, senior Kelly Lucas and juniors Jina Stanfill, Stephanie Fay, and Alicia DeMartini competed in the relay. The girls finished in fourth place with a time of 2:06.47.
“We competed really well,” Lucas said.
Swim’s next meet will be on April 11 against Peninsula High School away.
