The engaging fights lead to an overall enjoyable and immersive gameplay.

The story takes place in a parallel universe where an evil Superman is the dictator of the world. He rules like a god and destroys all those that oppose him. The player is brought into this universe and soon decides to stay and help defeat the evil Superman, all the while playing as these characters from the DC Comics universe.

The game is centered on one-on-one fights in a two-dimensional plane. With controls that are easy to learn, the game is full of dynamic and exciting fights in which the player must react quickly. Each character has an individual move set and fighting style, so every match is different. This is complemented by the interactive environment, which characters can use as weapons or as defense mechanisms.
