The Mira Costa varsity girls tennis team sweeped Santa Monica High School, 13-5, on their match on Tuesday.
All three singles players won their matches. Junior Brooke Swallow and freshman Amy Gaal both won both of their matches, with scores of 6-0. Junior Taylor Klein won 6-2 and 6-3. Freshman twins Isabella and Katarina Draskovic won both of doubles matches, 6-2 and 6-3.
“Generally, there is a lot of pressure on me this season because, so far, I am undefeated,” Gaal said. “We are working on serving and volleying which is helping all of us in our matches,” Gaal said.
The next game will take place on Wednesday at home against Palisades High School at 2 pm..
