Mira Costa’s Comedy Sportz team has finalized their new members and begun preparation for their first match in November.
This year the team added eight new members to the team.
“My main goal for comedy sportz this year is to strengthen the team as a whole,” Comedy Sportz manager Gabby Wolfe said. “I cut ten spots from the team this year in hopes of increasing the amount of practice and performance time that each player gets. I hope that the team gets really close this year.”
Their first match is planned to be a “student vs. teacher” match. New members are not allowed to play during this match, and can begin during the second semester.
“We have really advanced our skills,” junior member Tamara Knell said. “With the new members I only see positive things coming for the team.”
