People Obtaining Complete Equality put on a giving thanks campaign for the holiday season.
PACE spread this message by putting up posters around campus and encouraging people to give thanks for what they have this season.
“The message to be thankful for what you have is the main point of the giving thanks campaign,” PACE member Lauren Erwin said.
The assembly that PACE was supposed to put on didn’t happen do to difficulty with finding a speaking to talk on the topic of giving thanks. They canceled the giving thanks campaign assembly but they continued to put posters up around the school campus to spread their message.
“The assembly would have been helpful for the campaign,” PACE advisor Dr.Rocky Wilson said.”The posters around campus was a pretty solid way of getting the message to the students.”
