“Frozen” delivers

Through a huge winter storm, the disney animated characters of “Frozen” directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have to conquer hardships with the help of true love.

This movie was a very typical disney movie, involving a princess and her true love and all of the stuff that causes trouble in between. Unlike many other disney movies, this movie wasn’t only romantic but it was also funny.

Sisters, Anna(Kristen Bell) and Elsa(Idina Menzel) were princesses in the fictional land of Arendelle. When it is discovered that Elsa has a power that is dangerous to others, and almost kills her sister she isolates herself in her room.

Years later their parents die and Elsa becomes Queen and she decides to open the castle to others. She quickly gets outraged with her sister, and her powers go out of control and turn the whole kingdom into a snowy city and races off to the snowy mountains by herself.

Anna goes out on a journey to find her sister and picks up a charming man named Kristoff(Jonathan Groff) with his intelligent reindeer and found a funny snowman that Elsa made named Olaf(Josh Gad).

The movie was peppered with humor with funny moments created by a snowman, a reindeer, and the owner of a store on the north mountain. Throughout the movie there were songs that created humor like the song by the trolls.

This movie also had a great deal of loving emotion through the two sisters and through Anna and Kristoff. Like a typical disney movie the princess fell in love with the wrong guy and realized almost too late that the right guy was half way up a snowy mountain.

Through the power of love Kristoff knows he is the right guy and turns around to save her. With Hans(Santonio Fontana), who tricked Anna into falling in love with him, the only one who can run the kingdom, Kristoff needs to save the two princess sisters.

This movie was offered in 3D and it brought out most of the action and the directors did a great job of incorporating parts of the movie to pop out into the audience. With a huge winter storm involved in the movie the film had a lot of chances to use the 3D very well.

This film was very good and a great family and kid based movie. This movie is one of the disney greats, one of the best since “Lion King”.

This movie is rated PG and is shown nationwide. With the option of 3D or a normal showing this movie should be high up on your movie list.
