Paradise Bowls, an acai bowl/smoothie place located downtown Manhattan Beach, has big plans for the new year. Not only, did they recently reach their one year anniversary of their store downtown Manhattan on Jan 19, but they also are hoping to open their new store in Hermosa Beach this February.
The local business recently announced that they will be opening a new second location in Hermosa Beach. The new location will remain consistent to the Manhattan Beach location, but plans to have several minor changes. According to the owners, they hope to open sometime in February if all goes as planned.
“We are so excited to bring our awareness of health to another community,” store owner Justin Segal said.
As owner, Justin expresses his excitement for the second location many Hermosa Beach residents are very excited for the new opening.
“I love paradise bowls because it is a perfect and healthy snack. Living in Hermosa, I don’t get to come as often as I would like to, that is why I am excited for the second location in Hermosa,” Emma Anderson said.
Paradise Bowls is all about the health and aims to make people’s lives better and healthier.
“By opening this second location, we hope to spread our awareness at Paradise Bowls and to help make people’s lives better by introducing them to healthy habits such as fruit eating,” Segal said.
The new store is located on 1246 Hermosa Avenue, on the east side of the street; the store is across from Starbucks and Chase Bank. Although there will not be any major changes, the new location will offer more seating.
“We are blessed to have opened our first store in Manhattan Beach, and want to continue to expand. We thought that Hermosa Beach was the obvious location of our next store. As close as the cities are to each other, we felt that they were far enough apart where we could educate the community on the importance of health,” Segal said.
