On Sept 23, Costa’s cross country participated in the first Bay League meet of the season in Polliwog Park.
Costa went against six other schools, Redondo Union, Palos Verdes, Penninsula, Inglewood and Morningside High School. Costa placed third out of all schools, behind Palos Verdes and Redondo Union. Freshman Xavier Court got fourth overall with a time of 15:39 on a three mile race. Brandon Shirazi followed Court in 11th place with 15:55 and Bram Osterhout in 12th place with 15:58. Caleb Lloren came in after them with a 16:06.
There next meet is the Stanford Invitational on Saturday Sept 27. Only the top seven runners in Varsity and next top five runners will attend.
