Mira Costa Boys Soccer defeated Inglewood 2-1, at Coleman Stadium on Tues Jan 20.
Costa’s first goal was in the beginning of the first half, when Junior Kevin Vartan scored a header from a corner kick. During the second half, Junior Anand Sarathy fouled a player in the box, giving Inglewood a penalty kick, which then allowed them to score. Costa’s scored again during the second half, when Junior Jason Schwartz scored off of a cross.
The next game is on Friday Jan 23 against Morningside at Costa.
